How we build it

Stamped while it is still alive

There is a window of maybe two hours where the slab is firm enough to hold a pattern and soft enough to take one. This is that window: colour hardener worked in, release agent down, and the crew walking the stamps across in sequence.

The finished patio is the hero photo above. Same job, three days later, sealed.

Questions homeowners ask

What decides the estimate on stamped work?

Pattern, colour, the size and shape of the slab, and how much edge and step work there is. Daniel walks it with you and gives you a written number for stamped and for plain, so you can decide.

Does the colour fade?

Sun fades anything. Sealer is what protects it. Plan on re-sealing every two to three years; it is a one-afternoon job.

Stamped or stained?

Stamped adds texture and pattern. Stained adds colour to a smooth slab. We compared how each one holds up in Colorado Springs.

Is it slippery when wet?

Sealer can be. We add a grit additive to the sealer on patios, steps and pool decks so it is not.
